We are a group of 5 students from the University of Sunderland.
Our blog is part of our Medicalisation module, looking into Ivan Illich’s theory of ‘Medical Imperialism’ and the relevance of it today. Focus will be placed on the medicalisation of HIV/AIDS, men’s bodies and deviant bodies.
